Okknos Prime: Bonifant
Jocq's imaginary friend
Havilar was part of Idelle Delacroix‘s bodyguard that accompanied her into Lord Lord Absolon’s lair. She discharged her duties well, never leaving her charge’s side, until her untimely death. Of the ten dragonborn in her unit, only her commanding officer, Prexijandilin Heskan, survived her. Havilar was a skilled scout, proficient in stealth, perception, and deception, as well as the use of a rapier. She was fortunate enough to live twice, although her second life was rather brief. Her first death came at the hands of a flesh golem. Jocq D’Gemseer resuscitated her, but she was impaled by a gnoll only an hour later. This is not where her story ends though. Jocq still hears her voice in his head, guiding him, encouraging him, and arguing with him. Perhaps the horrors of the vampire’s lair and his failure to save Havilar has driven Jocq mad, or perhaps she really does speak to him from beyond the grave. Jocq does seem to know things he shouldn’t. Perhaps it’s a coincidence, or maybe the dragon-god Bahamut has allowed Havilar to guide Jocq after her untimely death.
